Simply put:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>\ud83d\udc49 You buy shares of a company<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udc49 The company makes money<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udc49 A portion of the profit is paid to you as a dividend<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>\ud83d\udc49 This creates a <strong>regular cash flow<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How Did I Learn About It?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I first learned about this way of thinking from the book <strong>\u201cThe Income Factory\u201d<\/strong> by Steven Bavaria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Steven compares investing to Henry Ford\u2019s factory:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The factory produces cars<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Money from selling cars is like dividends<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>These dividends can be reinvested so the \u201cfactory\u201d grows and produces even more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>For me, investing in dividends is like <strong>building a well<\/strong>, from which water slowly drips \u2013 money that I can use for new investments or to improve existing sources of income.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Remember:<\/strong> I am not a financial advisor. I\u2019m just sharing my journey toward financial freedom. Everything I talk about should be treated as <strong>an example of my own experience<\/strong>, not as investment advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">My Vision<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>I want to build an <strong>entire farm of wells<\/strong>, from which money will slowly drip. These funds I can:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>reinvest in new wells<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>improve existing ones<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>More and more people online are sharing their experiences with investing in dividend-paying instruments.
