From being a mechanical engineer, I am gradually becoming an investor. My passion is using money to make more money. In other words, I want to be, and already am, an investor. It\u2019s an almost perfect, semi-passive job that doesn\u2019t interfere with the traditional 9-to-5. You can do it in your free time\u2014and that makes it perfect for me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a long time, I searched for my place in the world. Eventually, I realized what truly makes me happy in my professional life. For years, I thought my ultimate goal was financial freedom. But that\u2019s only part of the truth. My real goal is to be the captain of my own ship. In a way, we all already are\u2014because even when working a regular job, it\u2019s like running a one-person company that provides services to your boss. If your services are too expensive or not good enough, your \u201cclient\u201d won\u2019t continue to use them\u2014you\u2019ll either lose your job or miss out on promotions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Since I\u2019m already running my \u201cone-person company,\u201d I want to work with the best people in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Steve Jobs once said: <em>\u201cA players hire A players.\u201d<\/em> That stuck with me. Of course, I want to work with the best. Then it hit me: when you buy shares in a company still run by its founder, in a sense, that founder works for you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And who is more motivated, focused, visionary, and wealthy than anyone else in the world? Elon Musk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That\u2019s why I decided to invest all my free capital into Tesla (see below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">what i&#8217;m working on<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Learning German every day with Duolingo \u2013 slowly building up my A1 skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Giving our doors a fresh look \u2013 sanding, refreshing, and painting them one by one.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">investments<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bought <strong>FTSE Global All Cap Index Fund<\/strong> for \u00a3250.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On <strong>Trading 212<\/strong>, invested \u00a3427.69 (all my pocket money savings) into <strong>Tesla<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u00a31K Passive Quest<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My goal is to build a passive income of <strong>\u00a31,000 per month<\/strong>. I aim to achieve this by the age of 57, when I\u2019ll gain access to my <strong>workplace pension<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By following the <strong>4% rule<\/strong>, withdrawing 4% annually from a \u00a3300,000 portfolio would give around <strong>\u00a31,000 per month<\/strong> in passive income. My <strong>\u00a31K Passive Quest<\/strong> is moving forward.
